Wanda Tomczykowska (August 29, 1921 – March 2, 2010) was the founder of The Polish Arts and Culture Foundation, San Francisco, California. Between 1966 and 2002 she was the organisation's president. ==Early life== Tomczykowska was born in Katowice, Poland to Leon Krawczyk and Paulina Fichna. She had two brothers who were enslaved by the Nazis during World War II in the coal mines of Silesia and died in middle age from the health effects of that experience.
